Create and/or build HOUSING:

Very simply, to fix a blown tire on a car there is no other option but to replace the blown tire with a good one. In the same way, in order to address the homeless crisis, homes/housing are needed.

Sadly, it is not like this basic principal is not known or understood. Investors from this country are in many third world nations building or helping to build housing in the underdeveloped areas of this world under the heading of humanitarian aid, but right here at home seem to turn a blind eye to the crisis.

Now, no one wants shelters in their neighborhoods, they don’t want homeless services in their neighborhoods, and they are appealing to local governments to do something about it. Study after study has been compiled on the problem from local levels to Federal levels of government but no one seems to understand that without affordable housing homeless populations are only going to increase.
